My name is Bridgit Donaldson and I am the School Counselor and Advocate at St. Ambrose Academy. I am thrilled to be part of the Ambrose Community! I am a Graduate from Northeastern Seminary with my Masters in Theology and Family Studies. I have been working closely with children and adolescents for several years.
As the School Counselor, I am here to foster the social, emotional, and personal growth of students in order for students to be successful.
I am here to provide counseling services to all students in order to promote a safe and supportive school environment that ensures a positive experience for all students, staff, and administration. I conduct individual and group counseling in addition to classroom lessons that focus on developing peer relationships, social skills, decision making, conflict resolution, behavior management, coping strategies, and explore safe and healthy choices. Students can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent.
